The Vgate OBD2 Bluetooth Scanner vLinker BM Bimmercode Diagnostic Tool is a tool designed for BMW and Mini vehicle owners who want to code and diagnose their cars. It is compatible with Android and Windows platforms only and does not support the iOS platform. The tool can work on a 2006 525i chassis code and is capable of resetting the seat belt warning with the BimmerLink software. It can be left plugged into the car as it goes into sleep mode when the car is turned off and uses a minimum current of only 3mA. However, it is not compatible with BMW OBD ported motorcycles. Customers have reviewed the product positively, stating that it works well with BimmerCode and BimmerLink and has excellent compatibility with the BimmerLink application for Android. One customer had trouble connecting to an iOS device for BimmerCode. Another customer found it hard to unplug the device due to the smooth case but found a solution with automotive tape.
