The printer does not work with Brady computer-based software. However, the PermaSleeve heat shrink tubing can be used to create custom length sleeves up to 50 characters long. The printer can also be powered by Battery Size(6) AA Alkaline or an Optional Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery. The printed labels are both water and chemical proof, and the vinyl tags can hold up pretty well against hydraulic oil and grease. The fabric ones can withstand harsh chemicals like detergents.
