How on earth are you supposed to get the backing plate off without damaging the 3M seal? (Instructions are diagram only and as clear as mud on this)

отвечать: It could hold a bath towel, but Personally I wouldn’t use it for one. It would have to be positioned higher up the wall and might look odd. I also bought the straight towel rail and this is perfect for larger towel. Of course this is just my opinion. -

Can this be glued to a tiled wall rather than screwed?
отвечать: I don't think it would be practical to glue it to tiles. It has a central attachment which can be screwed to the wall and then the towel ring is attached to it with a small grub screw.
