Horror Editorial Review
"The Sand" is a horror movie with a simple idea that still manages to be entertaining. Though it never explains where the creature came from, the acting is good, and the plot keeps the audience engaged throughout the film. The CGI may come off as cheesy and questionable, but overall, it is an enjoyable movie to watch if approached with an open mind.
