MRC Control & Power Supplies 0001278 Editorial Review
The Model Rectifier Corporation Tech 7 AMPAC 780 Train Controller is a versatile unit that allows you to operate multiple trains on separate tracks simultaneously. With dual outputs, you can control two different locomotives on separate layouts with ease. The throttle controls are smooth, providing a realistic speed for the trains. This controller works well with various types of trains, including British O gauge engines and N gauge locomotives. It is easy to connect the wires to the unit using the terminal screws on the back. However, it is important to note that this is a DC power supply and may not be suitable for AC-powered O gauge trains. While the Tech 7 780 does not have an overload light, it still delivers reliable performance. It may not have as much power as some other transformers, but it gets the job done effectively. Overall, the Model Rectifier Corporation Tech 7 AMPAC 780 Train Controller is a reliable and versatile controller for operating multiple trains. With its dual outputs and smooth throttle controls, it offers a seamless and realistic train operating experience.
